Do use the Comments box to open a dialogue with me as and when your understanding requires<\/em>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have decided to make my archive a research resource<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The material spans seven decades<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are three sets of data available: images, objects and words<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The data in them follows four developmental strands: origin stories, theories that emerged from praxis, the Pathway followed and the projects that emerged<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are three origin stories: The Boy with 8 Mothers, The Random Walk and Seeking Margaretta<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Four theories emerged: a pedagogy, a way of thinking, the reconstruction of a self, and the benefits of imprecision<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The pathway taken is a progressive chronology from age 3 to 80 with 17 staging posts that are mostly institutions<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are 15 projects provoked by the life led, some kindly shared by like-minded people, many original, and three of which have enough merit to be the subject of their very own collective legacy website<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This archive is assembled as a matrix woven from the three threads of data, the four developmental strands being the warp running lengthwise under tension, and the fifteen projects the weft running horizontally across the warp to create the knowledge base<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The entire collection is classified by a simple category and tagging system which is designed to assist a fluid navigation through the material<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The search box is capable of finding down the smallest detail if required<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I hope there are echoes of your own experiences here and may the material illuminate your own pathway: the one taken or still a dream<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I leave this material in your hands with all sincerity<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Colin Hicks \u00a9 2026   <\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This website is in a state of flux as it develops, so do not be surprised by dead ends.
